International Women’s Day
Today, and every day I celebrate all the wonderful women around me, nothing you do goes unnoticed. I want to encourage you today to allow yourself to look deep into your heart and see how truly wonderful you are, beautiful in such a way and full of purpose. Some of you may read this and think, what could be so beautiful or amazing about me anyway? I say that because I’ve been there, most of my life I walked around trying to go unnoticed because I believed I wasn’t beautiful, instead I felt unworthy, rejected, not enough. Until one day, one of the darkest days of my life I heard a different voice than what I had heard before so gentle, it said : “Embrace your royal beauty’. I truly didn’t know what that meant, but I began to open my heart in such a way that also took some fog off my eyes. That was the beginning of a transformation that has forever changed my life, I knew I had to surrender and trust God. I began to see who God was as a loving father, Jesus was the friend I had longed for so long. The more I know God the more I see my true identity as a child of the King, then I heard that gentle voice once again, except this time he said “Embracing Royal Beauty”. I didn’t see it at the time, but I realized that I had accepted who I truly was, not only worthy, seen, loved, chosen, beautiful but full of purpose. The process of transformation can be painful, but as women we know there is nothing we can’t handle no matter what the world may tell you!
“I Am Royal Beauty”, today I can say that with confidence. The confidence that comes from the ever so gentle whisper from the heavens. The society we live in today fills us with lies, telling us how we should look, dress, talk and walk. It sets a bar that is impossible to measure up to, creating division among us. The truth is we have been created with our gifts so that we can unite and do greater things for the kingdom of God.
Beauty and empowerment come from the heart, we don’t need to have all the answers, we don’t have to have everything figured in order to experience joy and abundance. Jesus is enough, nothing else matters if you align your heart with Jesus, everything will fall into place for His glory. There is no need for competition because there is enough room at the table for all of us in the kingdom of God. My hope is to bring more people together in business, in parenting, in life because the hard things seem easier when you have a strong community that supports one another. When you look to the father, and accept Jesus died on the cross so that we could live, you can’t deny that there is an anointing over your life. You have a gift, you have a place to fill in God’s plan. All you have to do is choose to follow Jesus every single day, over and over.
“Let the inner movement of your heart always be to love one another, and never play the role of an actor wearing a mask. Despise evil and embrace everything that is good and virtuous.” Romans 12:9 TPT
